  • Where are the Club locations in Abu Dhabi?
    The head office is located at 2404 Shining Towers in Khalidiyah and the BM Bay Marina is located in Al Bateen.
  • What are the operating hours?
    Head Office: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Mon-Sat) Marina Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Marina Hours: open 24/7

  • Can I book an appointment with the Sales?
    Yes, you can request for a Club Briefing on our app or contact us to schedule an appointment.
  • What is the minimum age requirement to be a Member?
    18 years old
  • What documents are required for the membership?
    (a) Valid passport or Emirates ID (b) Valid Car Driver’s License or Eye Test Results (c) Valid Boat Driver’s License (optional during membership registration)
  • How do I join the Club?
    Simply download the Nirvana Boat Club app, register and select your membership plan or visit any of our locations for assistance.
  • What are the benefits of the membership?
    The Member can enjoy exclusive use of the boats and access to the BM Bay Marina. The Member can avail up to four Orientation Sessions with our certified in-house captains. The Member can easily do boat bookings via the Nirvana Boat Club app.
  • What are the membership plans and prices?
    (a) Sealux - AED 1,499/mo. (b) Sea Dweller - AED 1,700/mo. (c) Elite - AED 2,500/mo. (d) Royal - AED 8,000/mo.
  • Are there additional fees aside from the membership fees?
    Yes, there is a one-time, non-refundable processing fee of AED 2,500 and a refundable AED 1,000 security deposit. *The processing fee for Royal members is waived.
  • How do I pay?
    You can do online payments on the app or visit our offices in Khalidiyah or Al Bateen to make cash or cheque payments. Modes of payment can be monthly, semi-annually, or yearly.
  • Do I need a Boat Driver’s License to join?
    Initially, membership registration does not require a boat license. You can acquire the license after completing the 2-Day Course and simply submit it via the app.
  • What is orientation session?
    The member will learn about the different boats available under his membership, booking sessions, marina locations, and boating activities available.
  • How do I book a boat?
    Once the membership requirements are completed, booking will be activated on the app and the Member can start booking on the app. Select the boat, date and session time. Select the no. of passengers and other features related to the booking.
  • What are the session timings?
    Morning 7:00 am – 12:30 pm Afternoon 1:30 pm – 7:00 pm Night 8:00 pm – 12:00 pm
  • How many bookings do I have per month?
    10 bookings per month for all membership plans
  • Is there a passenger limit per boat?
    The number of passengers depends on the selected boat model.
  • What does boat category mean?
    The boat models are classified as either Category A or Category B. Elite and Royal Member have access to both Category A & B boats. Sealux and Sea Dweller Members have access to Category B boats only.
  • What is in-house captain?
    Depending on the membership plan, the Member can avail to let the Club’s in-house captain drive the boat for him. There are 3 free in-house captains per year for the Sealux, Sea Dweller, and Elite Members. In-house captains are unlimited for the Royal Members.
  • Can I hire an in-house captain?
    Yes, the in-house captain charge is AED 250 per session for the Sealux, Sea Dweller and AED 200 for Elite Members. In-house captains are free for the Royal Members. *Houseboat in-house captain request is AED 250 per 8 hours.
  • Can I change my membership?
    Sea Dweller & Elite Members can upgrade their membership on the app.
  • Do I pay for the boat fuel?
    Yes, the Member will pay for the amount of fuel that was consumed during his boat trips- bookings and orientation sessions.
  • Are children and pets allowed onboard the boat?
    Yes, children and pets are allowed onboard the boat. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • What does Dual Feature (Royal Membership) mean?
    Royal members will be able to register an additional member (secondary) under the same membership. The membership will be shared with (primary member) and (secondary member). Terms & conditions apply.
  • What is a Rolling Booking?
    This feature allows the Member to schedule 2-3 bookings consecutively per week.
  • What does Freezing (Membership) mean?
    If the Member is travelling, he can request to freeze his membership up to for 60 days for Sealux, Sea Dweller, and Elite Members, and 75 days for Royal Members, thus, extending his membership term.
  • What do I get out of my Referrals?
    The Club rewards Member referrals. Depending on the number of successful referrals, the Member will be granted extension days on his membership term.
  • What is Alert Me?
    The Alert Me feature on the app allows the Member to receive real-time updates and notifications on the app about his booking, weather updates, latest promotions, and more.
  • Can I cancel my membership?
    Membership is effective for 365 days.
  • What about the refund?
    The Club will refund the security deposit to the Member after the cancellation or non-renewal of his/her membership. All refunds will be made to the nominated bank account of the Member within 30 days from the cancellation date.
